Dinner!
Yeah…I’m eating Mac and Cheese that expired 2 years ago. It’s Mac and Cheese, c’mon. What’s going to go bad? The cheese flavored dust?
Wallpaper is evil
Let us all take a moment and remember Nancy Reagan’s words and just say no to wallpaper. Sure it seems like a good idea at the time but at some point or another it’s going to have to come off and that is just no fun at all. After 7 hours of peeling a centimeter at a time we’re finally done and ready for painting tomorrow.

The sibs and I are visiting the grandparents this weekend. We decided that would make a good Christmas present for them. While we’re here they have some stuff they could use help with around the house. Moving furniture, putting up curtain rods, painting, computer repair and some pantry organization in which each task is uniquely suited to some of our talents. The chores are no big deal and it’s been a while since we’ve had a good visit so it’s win/win all the way around.
This is how to make coffee
In the classic “True Brew” Alton Brown fashion, I have put together my coffee system. I have to say, it’s pretty sweet. Not quite as convenient as a regular drip coffee pot but it tastes -so- much better.
High class tequila
John invited me over for some dinner and WordPress hacking tonight and as an incentive he let me try some of this amazing tequila. He’s blogged about it before but this is the first time I got to experience the amazing that is Chinaco Negro. Even better was trying it out of Disney shot glasses. That irony occurred to us at the time and we laughed about it but as I write this it dawns on me: why is Disney even selling shot glasses in the first place? Walt, poor Walt. Good thing he’s dead or this sort of thing would have killed him. Regardless, Chinaco tequila of any variety is very, very good but this stuff is exceptional.
Mac and cheese!
Hope and Don are abandoning us so they’ve decided to throw one last Vegas BBQ at their house. Hope made her famous mac ‘n cheese and it was awesome as always. We’re going to miss those two but time moves on and your friends move away. We’ll just have to visit them regularly in LA and they will also have to come back regularly to us. Who doesn’t want to visit Vegas, right? Living here is awesome in that respect.
Why…
I moved all the movable furniture into the kitchen so the people can clean my carpets. This necessitates me locking the cat in the closet while they are doing it which is really not going to make him happy. Hopefuly this gets rid of the furby problem on my floor, we shall see how good they can clean it.
