Mac and cheese!

Hope and Don are abandoning us so they’ve decided to throw one last Vegas BBQ at their house. Hope made her famous mac ‘n cheese and it was awesome as always. We’re going to miss those two but time moves on and your friends move away. We’ll just have to visit them regularly in LA and they will also have to come back regularly to us. Who doesn’t want to visit Vegas, right? Living here is awesome in that respect.

Pilipino power!

That is not a typo up there. I was asking how to spell the nationality of these people, all from the Philippines. I -really- wanted to spell it Philippino but of course that’s just ridiculous. Evidently these people are non-conformist since they way they like to spell it starts with an F not a P and there’s no double P in the middle. I was commenting that Filipinos from the Philippines was just silly and I was told that if I really wanted to do it right I could spell it with a P in front but no H following it. I give up, I’m taking their word for it. This is America, dammit, and Uhmerikans take people at their word and treat people of foreign descent with respect.

Housewarming extraveganza

Nick threw a party now that he’s moved into his new place. Tons of great food, tons of alcohol. It is a great recipe for a great night. I even managed to get a pic of the illusive George in the background. We are going to attempt an initiation into the T-bomb club tonight. That’s 8 t-bombs in 2 hours. It’s a very difficult club to get into. I’m not sure I’ll make it and the drink is named after me.
