It’s the roommates birthday so we’ve ventured to Osaka, one of my favorite restaurants in town. I like their flexibility. Teppanyaki or sushi, they got it all.
There’s a superbowl game around here somewhere
The fire pit is back! With a vengeance it seems. I’m at a Super Bowl party having a nice, relaxed evening before my worldwide tour. OK, I’m only going to one other country but it’s for a week and a half and it’s like 24 hours of travel each way. Makes it seem like a lot more.
Fire pit or washing machine drum?
Correct, it’s both! It’s Shannyn’s birthday so we’re having a surprise BBQ for her. Joe grilled up pounds of dead animal and fired up the fire pit which is made from a washing machine drum. It seems ghetto (and kinda is) but it’s extremely functional, providing oxygen to the fire and ambient heat radiating outward, and doesn’t look that bad.
