Beer me
One of the things I like about having a company is that due to our lack of an actual office, we get to meet customers in all kinds of places. Restaurants and bars are nice, neutral territory and are way more fun than sitting around in a stuffy conference room. It’s been a long couple days so I showed up early to grab a beer and it was everything I’d hoped for.
The end of an excellent OC Wordcamp
After spending a fun and informative day at OC WordCamp at UC Irvine, it’s time for the after party. I got a black and tan and I got a burger on its way. It’s half bacon, half burger and, from what I can imagine, all awesome.
Hawkins is going away!
Not “away” away. Just not going to be at TSS anymore. Today is his last day at TSS and tomorrow starts his first day of full time 9Seeds employment! We’re only 2 hours into this shindig and I’m not sure how much longer it can last. The man of the hour has accepted every drink purchased for him and as you can see, there’s an awful lot of people lined up to buy him one.
Affiliate Summit West
Affiliate Summit is in town and brought Caroline in with it, who I haven’t seen since she moved to, ugh, Florida. We’re hanging at the I-bar in the Rio and I know this isn’t the best picture but take my word for it, waitress eye candy for -days-. I also ran into Danielle and Jason (other ex-employees) as well so it was a fun reunion all around.
Another in a long series
We’re having Beer and Blog at McMullins Irish Pub tonight which means I had to get the Irish nachos. They truly are amazing but this is possibly the worst food picture I’ve ever taken. Just take my word for it, they’re delicious.
A little Gordon Biersch action
The holidays have pretty much wrecked our regularly scheduled Beer and Blog so we’re doing them impromptuly for now. We’re hanging out at Gordon Biersch these days when it does happen. They have these homemade chips and cheese and bacon thing here that is just short of divine. Not to mention wi-fi and a handful of nice brews
