BlogWorldExpo wiped me out so today I hit up the comic shop and I’m going to do nothing more than relax with the cat and read some comics. It’s been a while since I’ve gone so the stack is fairly enormous.
Blogger karaoke!? Count me in
If there’s anything better than geeks doing karaoke I don’t know what it is. I say geek with the utmost respect, by the way. BlogWorldExpo had a BBQ followed by either a club experience at Studio 54 or blogger karaoke. This is definitely going to be more fun and AND we didn’t have to drive so it definitely wins. Between the karaoke, the bigscreen twitter feed on the wall and the bar directly behind us we are set for the night.
Beer and Blog the Super Edition
BlogWorldExpo is this weekend which has made for a big Beer and Blog crowd today. This is the beginning of a looooong weekend.

How is it there was an entire season of a Nathan Fillion show that I’ve never even heard of?! I depend on you people to tell me things like this. I’m trying to train myself to be able to work and watch TV at the same time but that’s really hard. I may have to give up though. It’s pretty complicated. TV while editing photos or doing chainmail totally works but trying to program with people talking is just killing me. I’ll just have to finish this show and put the headphones and music back on.
Photoshoot Sunday
In an effort to expand my photographic chops I’m happy to do studio portraits for a non-existent to minimal fee. Luckily some people have seen pics I’ve done for other people and they’re happy to trade me getting some practice for them getting some free pictures. A co-worker plus her boyfriend and daughters all came down to make it a whole famly affair. The girls are in middle school so they had fun with a couple different outfits and I spent an hour or so pretending like I know what I was doing. I agreed to do this before work buried me and I would have rescheduled except her daughters are only in town for this week. Now that I’m here it’s a nice momentary diversion from the ridiculous amount of work I’m doing right now. Post processing is -definitely- going to have to wait though
Oktoberfest at Hoffbrau with someone named Holly
Friday after a very, very long week is never a good idea to go to some place with 1 litre beers but to the HBH we went. We got a some sausage, some pretzel, a celebrity sighting and a spanking by the jaeger girl. This is -exactly- what the doctor ordered. Who wants to go to the Double Down?
