Introducing some friends to the glory of In-n-Out

09.12.2009

My favorite thing about WordCamp events is getting to hang out with all the people we’ve met at previous WordCamp events. This is Abbie and Shayne who I met very briefly at Vegas WordCamp back in January. Luckily Hawkins has kept much more in touch than I have and has given me a proper introduction this time. They’re from Texas but don’t let that fool you, they’re ridiculously cool. It just so happens that they don’t have In-n-Out in Texas and being that we’re in the land that invented this blessed hamburger chain, we decided that they needed to try it out. Abbie had some back in her teens, I believe, but Shayne is in for his very first time. It’s so exciting! As you can see, I think he’s ready for more.

Oh no, is that the one by the airport? That is the WORST In-n-Out

  2. Matt says:

Even the worst In-N-Out is still better than most fast food burger places. It’s not like Austin, Tx has good food or anything.

I didn’t know there was such a thing as a “worst” In-N-Out; all the ones I have tried have been deeelightful. Do they refuse to serve burgers “animal style” or something?

I have to agree with Adam on this one. No such thing as a bad In-n-Out. The place was clean, the staff was nice, the burger was awesome, the fries were hot… The parking lot is a bit tight for my truck, but if that’s the worst part of it, I’ll happily go back tomorrow.

Oh good maybe they have gotten better, I haven’t been to that one for a very long time. Hot fries were an issue. I have one 2 blocks away so no need to risk going to a mediocre in-n-out

    I want another one!
