A very dark picture from Chino Latino

08.30.2009

Fine, I wish the iPhone had a flash on the camera. We are at Chino Latino. An Uptown (the area just South of Downtown Minneapolis) eating establishment that has both asian and latin american food. It’s not fusion, just lots of different dishes from each area on a menu that appears to shift constantly. It’s all served family style and everything I ate tasted great including the margarita so it’s definitely a place to check out. It was a little pricey but not out of control. Only one night left for tomorrow we head back home.

Too bad your camera doesn’t have a flash on it, you should’ve borrowed Myya’s, her phone has a flash.

Are we sure that Todd has the new iPhone? I haven’t been too impressed with the pics from the new 3MP camera… And on that note I think Todd should occasionally throw a “Video 606″ into the mix since he has the capability.

I know you don’t care and you’re just giving me grief but I’m going to explain it anyway. The camera in the 3G S is way better than the previous model. Better color reproduction, resolution and auto-focus capability which means I can get closeup shots that are actually in focus. What they -didn’t- change is the fact that it totally blows in low light situations which I find myself in constantly.

As for video 606 I started playing with what that would take and got a little hung up in details such as whether the video is in landscape or portrait mode. I’m almost there but just haven’t had time to finish it up.

Matt was really on fire that night, I’ve never seen him so chatty!

I don’t think I was any more chatty than usual.
