See, I’m not the only one

I’m helping geeeek out with his home web development system and ended up with this picture. It’s too bad that it isn’t in its old configuration with a 4th monitor on top. That would have been an awesome picture. Unfortunately I’m pretty the server is going to win temporarily because it is so freaking slow. 566Mhz Celerons are just not worth dealing with but he wants to and who am I to judge? We are using this time wisely and I’m showing him the helpful site where I learned how to solve a Rubik’s cube and now he’s hooked. Knowing his penchant for obsession I fear that I shouldn’t have openned this door. By this time next week he’ll be solving cubes with his feet.

Ha ha! maybe not with my feet, but I most certainly solved that cube for the first time ever last night! Woo Hoo!
Regarding the dev-server… Before I lose all geek-cred, I ONLY use the server internally for testing out sites I’m working on and WordPress templates… a 566Mhz Celeron is PLENTY for the amount of “traffic” that server sees. It’s been running just fine for an eternity and we are only upgrading it because the versions of PHP/MySQL are so old that I can’t run the latest versions of WordPress. I would much rather spend my money on a new camera lens or something like that.
You need ta hit that “Turbo” button, quicko!
So glad you clarified because I was going to have to call you out on the 566 Mhz. I look forward to a demo of you solving a Rubik’s cube behind your back
