We have arrived and we may not ever go back
Don’t expect too many words on these posts for the next week but I’ll
try to make up for it with supplemental posts like this. I’ve been up
for 32 hours with only crappy airplane sleep to fill the gaps but it’s
4:04 and this is the view from my balcony and that makes it all worth
it.
Goodbye Rob, you are dead to me
We are gathered here this Tuesday to mourn the loss of Rob. He was with us a long time but has moved on to a better place. A place rich with opportunity but without us. Which means IT SUCKS. I’m only a little bitter. Rob will still be around for socializing at least, and next week he’ll be whooping it up in Cancun, as will we all. Good luck, Rob, we’ll miss you!
A good computer movie?!
I haven’t seen the whole thing yet but this far it’s not made me upset. That’s a rare thing. Usually seeing a computer movie pissed me off within the first few minutes. I’m not sure it’s perfect but they, at the very least, are avoiding the complicated computer questions. Saying cool stuff happens without showing details, totally OK. Showing unbelievably cool stuff in an unbelievable way, not cool.
No on Prop 8!
A holiday event without Malex just wouldn’t be an event at all. Everyone’s in town for fake Thankgiving including Club S and therefore a Malex moment unfolded right at 6:06. It feels a -little- staged but I record what I record. I would like to say that this pictureshould serve as a testament to how happy two people can be, regardless of gender. Who is the state of California to deny them their happiness?
Who am I hanging with?
Matt’s in town. Of course the big watch and pink western shirt pretty much gave it away. We’re waiting for Dad’s flight from Mexico and listening to a new mix I installed on the iPhone. We’re having fake Thanksgiving this weekend since I’m going to be in Cancun over real Thanksgiving. Matt’s just happy to be on 606 since he moved to LA and abandoned all his fans.

It’s time for some new hair. I did orange for October as I always do but it was disappointing. Pravana is just not a good brand. Stay away. Special Effects is -so-much better. Napalm Orange is my orange of choice as it should be yours. My hairdresser, Candace, moved across town and since good hairdressers are harder to find than even good drug dealers (so I’ve heard) I followed her. As you can see, it’s good.
