Recompressing a little after my extreme decompression of the last week

After pretty much completely checking out and going off grid last week I’m getting back into the swing of things by sitting here and watching movies (“Taken”,”American Gangster”,some Batman movie) and waiting for my luggage to arrive. There was only an hour between flights in Mexico City and then the plane from Cancun was delayed. We had 30 minutes to run from gate 9 to gate 35 to catch our flight. I guess our luggage walked and missed the plane. No biggie for me since I’m home. I just feel bad for the people who were only staying a day in Vegas and then moving on. That’ll learn ‘em. Vegas needs 2 days minimum to enjoy and let your luggage catch up to you.
I finally watched Next this weekend and I really couldn’t suspend belief enough to make Jessica Biel and Nicholas Cage a romantic match. Other than that it was okay.
Myya and I watched Next a couple of weeks ago as well. I concur with Amanda’s review.
That’s fair enough but…you see couples like that all the time. It’s inexplicable but happens a lot. Just because -you- don’t like Mr. Cage doesn’t mean Jessica can’t like him.
Right because I would totally lump Justin Timberlake *sigh* with Nick Cage *hork*.
