How exactly is this not an X-Files rippoff?

09.27.2008

I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. I never particularly liked X-Files although, to be fair, I never really watched it either. I’ve seen 4 episodes and it didn’t grab me and that’s my limit. I’m sorry Jessi…I hope we can still be friends. After 2 episodes of “Fringe” I’m interested. I don’t know if I’ll keep watching it but we’ll see. What -does- make me less than ecstatic is that me liking the “X-Files” is beside the point, tons and tons of other people obviously did. The story was already told. Do we really need to redo it?

    Exactly

Is it just me or is the mattfingering getting worse?

Yeah I don’t find the lead chic very intriguing, she does not hold my interest. Selene would also be upset to hear you don’t like X files.

And Pacy from Dawson’s Creek is getting in that weird child like face but is an adult thing going on.

Scully and Moulder were more of a dynamic on screen couple.

    don’t forget the ellipsis…

I keep seg-faulting at the apparent intentional combination of these two clauses:
    “…is getting in that weird…”
    “…thing going on.”
Those two clauses definitely do not under any circumstance go together.

  8. Matt says:

Adam’s post makes “absolutely” no-sense, to me.

  9. Adam says:

LOL Matt, for all your grammatical faults, sometimes you hit one out of the park. Bra-,”vo”.

  10. Matt says:

What do you mean? That sentence makes perfect sense to me.

Matt, I would like to introduce you to our friend and yours, the comma ‘,’. The comma helps break up sentences into discrete sections. Also assisting in this endeavor are the comma’s friends the quotation mark ‘”‘ and the dash. With this dynamic trio the “sentence” you typed becomes

And Pacy, from Dawson’s Creek, is getting in that weird “child-like-face but is an adult” thing going on.

I messed that up and I could fix it but I’m going to let Adam fix it instead since I know he wants to and it’ll be funnier that way
