’tis International Talk Like a Pirate Day, haaarrrr! It’s also Friday and the beginning of the weekend. It’s been one of those really subversively intense weeks. Not crazy deadlines or really late nights but instead just a really steady pressure to wear us all down. As of 2 hours and 6 minutes ago, however, that pressure is relieved until Monday. Here’s a funny story about today. I walked around all day with a pirate scarf upon me head and a big gold hoop in me ear and got neither more nor less weird looks on my appearance on this day than I do on any other regular day.
