Chilis yummy!
I’m having dinner with Ma and Adam at Chilis. It’s not the best but, much like Applebees, it’s comfortable, affordable, and reasonably tasty. I gotta lay a base for all the wine I’ll be drinking this weekend. It’s no good drinking on an empty stomach.
Who watches the Watchmen?
Yes, more reading. I gotta get out more. This is just depressing, but fun. I like reading I just have to start doing something else until 6:06 and then read afterward. Or before -and- after. That’s the plan. I’ll read until 5:45 and do little ninja strikes on cool things at 6:06 and then go back to my exceedingly boring life. It’s perfect! Pixel may start feeling neglected though. He’s such a camera whore.
More amazing Venture Bros.
Seriously, this is one of the best cartoons ever aired. You should be watching it. I should be watching it more. I’ve been reading too much and had a bunch of episodes stacked up at once. It’s not a horrible way to watch it though, just sucks to have to wait.
Hooray for comics!
I went out today and got my hair cut and colored and hit up the comic shop. That makes it a pretty awesome day. I’m now going to sit here and read comics until it’s time for dinner and the rest of the Saturday night. It’s kind of a race. I wonder if I’ll make it or if the stack will win.
Not overly busy for dinner
I’m having dinner with Ma, Pa and G-ma at the Hacienda in BC and I’m a little surprised at how empty this restaurant is. I don’t know if it’s always like this or if this is just a weird seasonal fluke. I’m guessing fluke because otherwise the restaurant would have just closed ages ago. I have nothing else exciting planned for the evening. I got more reads waiting for me when I get home and that is definitely something to look forward to.
Shopping at Town Center
I had dinner at Yardhouse with Dad and now we’re wandering towards Borders because I have a hard time resisting the call of Borders. Like I haven’t read enough lately? I’m telling you, it’s like a heroin addiction. Like heroin addiction without the possibility of accidental death, that is. Well, as long as I don’t read while I’m driving or walking on the rim of Grand Canyon.
Happy birthday Sarah!
Has there been a rash of birthdays lately or is it just a nice steady stream of them? Maybe I just know a lot of people. Regardless, here we are for Sarah. Her birthday had the temerity to fall on a weekday to keep us from partying too hard for it. We don’t take crap like that from a day and proceeded to party as we wished. Tomorrow may be…complicated.
