It was time for some new color so I went back to a recent favorite, pimpin’ purple. Everyone likes the purple for some reason. I do too but I get more comments on this color than anything else and I’m not sure why.

To illuminate: Matt and I had a conversation a long time ago how people tend to see b&w and immediately think “oooh, artistic” and the same picture in color and in b&w people would assume the latter to be artistic and the first to be oh so jejune. This entire issue got Matt’s dander up in a way I don’t totally understand but we all have our hot-button issues.

I can back Todd up on the statement about getting more comments on purple hair. He really does get exponentially more comments.
Manduh and Ma got to see it in person the other day. It really is a force to behold.
I prefer the bright blue, I wonder if purple is the color that people feel the most comfortable, that the other colors are so crazy they can’t even rap their head around it to even approach you. Those of us that know you want to hug you and squeeze you all the time.
I noticed I spelled it wrong but I decided to leave it.

This is like the third time in a week I’ve seen someone spell “rap” instead of “wrap”. It’s not exactly surprising in Matt but it is a weird localized cluster.
