That’s not Denise Richards

This was supposed to be a picture of Denise Richards from her new reality show but I clicked the button too late and it became a picture of a commercial for salad dressing. I’m not sure which was more exciting. I’m at the theater to watch the Wachowski brothers make something worth watching. Namely, “Speed Racer”. This movie looks really interesting. I haven’t seen it yet but its getting a really strange mix of reviews. I’m ditching all the reviews and just going with my gut which says that this looks like a really fun, silly, live action cartoon. Guess we’ll see.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Despite Ma’s best efforts to go to her favorite restaurant for her special day (ugh…Olive Garden) we weren’t the only ones with that idea. At 5:30 the place was packed beyond belief. We made a quick change of venue next door to TGIF and it was good. The food’s not really the point. It was just about the sibs and I hanging out with Ma because that’s what she wanted and, let’s face it, isn’t that the least we could do? We also made a trip to the dump, made a bed and took a nap. Oh yeah, we pulled out -all- the stops. And, just from me, I did -not- take a picture of Ma for this post.

Pool Sixies

To all who couldn’t make the Sixies BBQ/Pool party we missed you! You certainly missed us. I don’t know what you were doing that wasn’t this but I’m pretty sure we had more fun! Whether you were there or not, thanks to everyone who participates on the site. You all make it worthwhile.

Happy Sixies Day!

I’m heading to Ma’s house for some more 80th birthday/Mothers Day/Fathers Day/58th Birthday fun. I should have brought a hat. All that pool time at the Sixies pretty much wrecked my hair. I don’t think the real start of Summer is until the 22nd or so but since I’ve had 2 BBQs in one day, I’d say Summer has unofficially arrived in Vegas.

Goodbye, Little Miss Sunshine

A caustic personality and inability to suffer fools gladly does not endear you to many but you will be missed, not by everyone, maybe not by even that many, but by some. Good luck in -ugh- Florida.

Waldo and Manduh at the Frog

We’re hanging out at The Freakin’ Frog, waiting for John to finish selling his car so we can bid him adieu. He’s taking a job in Orlando and leaving us forever. Sometimes there’s only one solution for this kind of monumental upheaval. Beer, and lots of it. Manduh’s drinking my Framboise Lambic. I remembered having it before and liking it but I think I’m getting it confused with something else. It’s not bad but it’s basically raspberry flavored beer. Way too sweet to be something I’d want. Luckily manduh suggested trading it with her Stella.

Happy birthday OGG!

I’m not totally sure how it worked out but somehow my esteemed brother and I, during our grandfathers funeral started referring to Grandma as OG Grandma or OGG. Which I’m never sure how to spell. Maybe it’s OG-G? Not secretly either, this was in a conversation with her like “Hey Grandma, no worries, you’re OG”. We’re very street. This involved a conversation with her about what OG meant. That’s how I remember it anyway. If any of the sibs feel like correcting me, please do. Anyway, it is her 80th birthday today and we all went out to dinner for it to the Tillerman which, so far, is pretty awesome. That’s Dad posing with her because he’s also almost never on the site so it’s like a 2 for 1 deal. The Tillerman is extra awesome tonight because Dad’s paying. Thanks, Pop!
