Sigh…stuff should work better
There appears to be something wrong with our SUper Smash Bros Brawl disc. It’s making a funny noise and it doesn’t always work right. Evidently we aren’t the only ones with this problem since Nintendo has a special site set up just for people with SSBB issues. Should make it easy to waranty then.
Portraiture 101
Samantha wanted me to take some pictures of her with the new camera in her graduation finery so that’s what we did. I’m also in a group where we have a subject each week we have to go out and get a picture of. This week it’s “Portrait” which is awesome since we were doing the graduation photo thing anyway. This is all to distract me from the fact I have to work tonight…late…again…ugh.
My current favorite piece of furniture
I haven’t been sleeping nearly enough lately and today I had a wonderful, amazing nap to help with some of that sleep debt. Doesn’t it look comfy? It is, it really is.
Anthropologie, home of yoga mats and tiny dogs
They also have tiny, brightly colored cups. I visited this store in Santa Monica and all I saw the entire time were girls with yoga mats, wearing furry boots and holding tiny dogs. When I commented upon this strange phenomenon, Manduh said that was Santa Monica, as if that was an explanation. I took it as gospel and decided it was a “California” thing. Imagine my surprise when I wandered into the Vegas branch and out walked a girl carrying a tiny little dog. Now I’m confused again….
What a mess…silly painters
The apartment complex is doing a little renovation by painting the whole outside some new fancy colors of brown. I don’t really care except that we had to pull all the crap off the back porch so it didn’t get painted interesting colors of brown too. The cat was already interesting colors of brown so he can go out there if he wants.

Birthday dinner at Nobu
It’s my esteemed roommates birthday so Samantha and I decided that it was a good time to take him out and try out Nobu for the event. She’s not really into the sushi but he and I are and it’s his birthday so… This is supposed to be a really excellent fusion sushi restaurant so it seems like a good idea. I have to say I’m a little wary of fusion anything. I tend to want one kind of food or another, not both at once. Latin American-Japanese fusion…sounds weird but I’m willing to give it a shot.
