All the pretty lights!
I’m back in the Bay Area for the weekend. The problem is that every time I come here there’s more that I want to see so I keep coming back. It helps that I have friends here to show me around. I went to this city today with Nova and we found the porn store on the corner of “Polk” and “Bush”. Some comedin had said that it was there and we weren’t sure if it was a joke or not so I said I had to see myself. Sure enough, it was there. We also found a really cool tea store and went to Grace Cathedral and walked the labyrinth. We were thinking about going back out but decided to call it a night. A lot of the pretty lights in the picture are cars, and lots of them. Tonight I’ll stay in the East Bay.
Which Sesame Street character am I?
It’s that time again. Candace has worked her magic and now I have hair best described as “Alexander the Grape”. I’m headed out of town this weekend though and I just couldn’t do it faded with roots showing. I have a reputation to maintain.
Mmmm meat!
These two carnivores have been shopping for a house to rent all day and have worked up quite an appetite. We met them at Lucilles for some BBQ fun. This is about all I have the energy for. I’m making this a very low energy week. No partying and/or carousing. Even leaving the house to come here was almost more than I could handle.
Ultra dense cat
Now, the reason the pillowsac looks like this is because someone was wandering all over it trying to get the the back of the stereo. When Pixel sat in it as is his custom though it looked like he had made the huge dent by sinking into it. We’re just sitting here tonight watching…a movie…that looks really good but I missed it in the theater and wanted to see it and it’s not on DVD yet. So look at this picture of Pixel! Isn’t he cute?
Found them!
I’ve had a low level anxiety about my missing sunglasses for about a week now. I was -pretty- sure I hadn’t left them anywhere like a restaurant or bar but I wasn’t 100% sure which led to the anxiety. Prescription sunglasses are -not- cheap. I can’t believe this is where they’ve been the whole time. I guess we should turn on the kitchen light more often.
Happy birthday Don!
So many birthdays…Don “The Hummingbird” is saying goodbye to his 20′s tonight and has gathered the usual suspects at his house way out in the middle of frigging nowhere for some pizza and drinking. One of those being more important than the other. I can’t believe how much jaeger has already disappeared into people. Hope, Sarah, Danielle and Michelle are the only ones I could corral for this picture because it’s not actually 6:06 (since I was driving to this party then) and I didn’t get the picture -before- all the jaeger disappeared.
Ah, gay Paree
Nova’s going back home tomorrow but for one more quick fun thing while she’s here she wanted to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Casino. It’s always interesting having Evan with us while we do Vegas stuff. Finding kid friendly stuff to do in Vegas is not something I normally have to think about. I think this will be successful though. Hopefully I can keep it together. I’m not always really good with heights.
