We went to see “Cloverfield” and geeeeks face here kinds sums it up.
This isn’t a metaphor on the movie, he really does feel kinda sick.
The blairwitchesque camera shots have gone and made him motion sick.
Otherwise the movie was totally worth watching matinée price. Full
price…eh, maybe. I’d pay full but others are pickier about that than
I am.

And make sure nobody is directly behind you.
Thanks for the head’s up, now I know not to sit too close to the screen
Myya will definitely have to take her “drama”-mine before we see this…

I’ve been percolating the movie and I like it more today than I did yesterday. I’m still biased though since, like “The Man From Earth”, I really like movies with small casts.
I saw a really good movie this weekend as well. “Once” is hind of a modern musical but not in that gay way. It is a small movie and it is fantastic.
I can not believe how bad I felt after that movie! I thought for sure I was gonna hurl before I made it to the car. I went home and plopped down on the couch and it took me 2 hours before I started feeling better.
Damn you J.J. Abrams!
The main guy is the lead singer of the Frames.
We saw “Cloverfield” last night and I thought is was great! Not having seen “The Blair Witch Project” may have contributed to any extra enjoyment due to camera technique. Again, two thumbs up from this guy!
