Sunday night at the Cacker Barrel
Ma and I are on our way back home after a long Phoenix weekend. I didn’t really need to stop in Kingman but…Cracker Barrel. I gotta stop for that.

We’ve headed to Phoenix to have an in-between Thanksgiving and Christmas weekend with Ma, the Sibs, Aunt Janice and Uncle John and Bubbe and Zade. We got suckered into some household help disguised as holiday cheer. Well, suckered is a strong term. We were bribed with thanksgiving style dinner. As far as I’m concerned it was all worth it just for this picture alone. And, okay, honestly, I’m glad to help. Since we’re so far away we don’t get the chance that often. I’m glad for that though. The diet would be a real issue if Bubbe was nearby. Her cooking is pretty irresistible.

Airport fun
Dad’s in for a holiday visit before he heads off to another country. Unfortunately we’re off to Phoenix for the weekend so our Dad interaction is going to be limited. I did get to visit the airport though which is always a fun people watching experience. Nothing beats free entertainment.
This show is the awesome
If I could only watch one network show I think this would be it. “Pushing Daisies” is the most interesting, original show I’ve seen in ages. If I could take 3 shows I’d add “Reaper” and “My Name is Earl”. After getting something like no sleep all weekend I’m taking an easy evening with some TV. What’s on your top 3 list?

Once again it’s time for the Las Vegas Marathon. I have gotten up at the crack of dawn to help cheer on my various friends and bloggers geeeek, Jessi, Justin and Nita. I figured that it’s the least I can do. Literally. The only thing less would be to do nothing at all. I don’t know how many people came up but it was -a lot-. It took about 20 minutes just to get everyone started. Congratulations to everyone who tried, finished or failed! It’s way more than I ever will accomplish in this respect.
Mac repair: Take 3
I’m back at Fry’s with hope in my heart that this will be the last
time im here for a warranty issue ok my beloved Mac. If it breaks one
more time they have to replace it. I’m a little worried though. Even
if my laptop is truly fixed it could still have what I’ve heard the
Chinese call “Dragon Tracks”. I may be misusing that phrase. I did
hear it on Cartalk.
