I’m hanging out at Justin and Jessi’s and watching “The Host”. It is supposed to be an awesome Korean monster movie. I haven’t seen it yet though so I guess we’ll see how good it is. We’re having Von’s sushi and peanut sauce cabbage salad and watching some South Park first. The nice thing about Justin’s screen setup is that his screen is acoustically transparent so he hides his front speakers behind it which is aesthetically pleasing. Oh and he also projects 720P and I don’t because I suck.

I think I recognize this as “The Batcave”! Aka Wayne Manor.

  2. Todd says:

Yes the movie was good, scary and funny all at once. And you take that back Adam. I’m not waiting for an iProjector, you make me sound like such an Apple fanboy.

  3. Todd says:

It was indeed Wayne Manor. Here’s a good movie poster for the movie we watched.

Well was it good? I heard it was. Plus just because you have the crappiest projector of everybody you know that doesn’t mena you suck you were the first and that is all that matters.

  5. Adam says:

Todd is just biding his time, waiting for the iProjector to come out…

  6. Manduh says:

Was that meal good because it doesn’t sound very appealing.

  7. Todd says:

You know it really was. Justin’s always talking about Vons sushi and I always laugh, but it was good.

  8. jessi says:

But you didn’t mention the best part of the night. “Hot Vons!” You finally experienced what is known as “hot Vons” even though I still didn’t see any hot girls around :)

  9. Adam says:

I went by Vons at lunch to try to get some of this sushi, but unfortunately the sushi man was not there… In any case I agree that freshly prepared sushi is good whether it comes from restaurant or grocery store.

  10. Manduh says:

Wait a tic, they prepare the sushi at vons? I was picturing the premade packages you get at any grocery store.

  11. Todd says:

They make them and then pre-package them…possibly right in front of you. It all seems very fresh.

  12. Adam says:

Prepackaged (i.e. trucked in from some off-site location) sushi is without a doubt the most disappointing thing I have ever eaten (and continue to eat in hopes of finding a good one). The Vons method (prepared on site and packaged) is a million times better.
