A new food service worker!
For those who don’t remember, each year we have awards and one of the
categories is “best picture of a food service worker”. That sounds so
impersonal but it really isn’t. For example, this is Amberlyn, the
Llama and Sarah but we’re only concerned with with Amberlyn. We
frequent PTs -a lot- since it’s across the street from work and this
is the first time on years we’ e seen a new face. She’s cute,
personable and talkative, what else can you ask for? Personally I wish
she wasn’t such a fan of MTV reality shows (“Laguna Beach”, “The
Hills”) but I guess I’ll survive.

Matt can’t whine because I didn’t cook it I guess and it doesn’t look like it came out of Ciego. I’m having dinner with Ma and G-Ma in BC. I’ve discovered something new in that I’ve found myself liking refried beans. I don’t know where that came from, out of nowhere evidently. If you’re in BC around dinnertime check out Casa Flores. I don’t know if it’s totally authentic or anything but it’s all kinds of good.

Finally to the 3rd installment. I’ve been introducing the roommate to
the Ocean movies in preparation to watch this one. Last night was the
OK second one and now we continue the franchise. We need to turn off
our brains for a night and this is going to do it.
Can we build anything else?
Seriously, I’m on the I-15 heading South and there is just a ridiculous amount of construction going on in this section of town. It is just astounding. You’d think I’d be used to it by now living here in Vegas for this long, but it still sneaks up on me sometimes. I’m also rarely up around here though I live like 2 miles away. This isn’t the best example of it but it’s hard to get a picture like this while driving and not wrecking.
Good movies and porting contact
I’ve never seen “Falling Down”. It’s another in a long line of good
movies I should have seen long ago but haven’t. It’s a good thing to
do while moving all the contacts from my old phone to the iPhone. I
looked for an automated way to do it but, in a very un-me moment,
decided that automating it would be more work than just typing them in
anew.
Semi-private conversations
I don’t know who Heelo is but he is getting an earfull from this woman. Evidently he “shouldn’t do stuff like this” because it “just pisses her off” and she “doesn’t know why they’re together still after 3 years of this crap”. She thought about privacy, but it’s hot. She rolled up the window but not all the way. In my car I can still hear most of the conversation through the open sunroof. It’s not exciting but it -is- 6:06
