Wow, this is complicated

Why do software tools have to suck. I can play movies with the iPhone so it’s time to make some and try it out. I have Quicktime (made by Apple), the Macbook (made by Apple) and the iPhone (made by Apple). QuicktimePro which I PAID for incidentally, is wrecking this process. It should be simple. Open the movie, export as iPhone movie, copy to iPhone. It isn’t working though. The sound is broken though so I’ve had to come up with a new method until they fix Quicktime. The new method is in the background behind the movie. This is what happens when geeks like us can’t get the easy, push-button tools to work like we want them to. At this point I have something that makes movies as good as Quicktime at half the filesize and the audio is actually in sync. It only took 3 days of pain to get working. I can watch movies on the phone. It’s like a portable DVD player almost. It’s going to be awesome for trips and stuff.

They make an ipod that does that
Hyarr, the iPod have a paltry screen. I prefer me entertainment on a screen I can see with me one good eye
I have this exact problem putting video on my 5th Gen iPod. I have tried 8 different ways of doing this, and no matter what I do, either I have no audio, or my audio is out of sync. I assumed it was ’cause I’m not currently a member of club Mac…I guess Steve-o inflicts his bugs without bias
entertaining yet long.
I watched it over Mandy’s shoulder and I wasn’t all that impressed.
To properly enjoy this holiday please look at this brief primer
by watched he sat at the desk behind me and sent out his resume while occasionally looking in my general direction.
Hey at least I was working.
