Russian brilliance
Malex and I saw the prequel to this movie last year called “Nightwatch”. It was…confusing. I’m not sure if we just missed parts since we weren’t Russian or because it was late or because Matt was sleeping through it, but it was a much, much better movie the second time around. This movie, pictured here, is “Daywatch” and it is much better. At least a little more cohesive and followable (it is too a word). Unfortunately, Matt couldn’t make it since he lives in a different state and stuff but for Alex and I it was like he was right there because this guy sitting in the row right behind us immediately fell asleep and snored through the entire movie.
It’s been awhile
It’s Alex! He’s doing something exceedingly strange but this is what happens when I let it go too far between his pictures. It all comes out at once. I’m having dinner at the Outback (something else I haven’t done in quite a while) with Ma and Alex. No bartime for me tonight. I only managed one good night of sleep this week and that wasn’t enough. I’m to bed early tonight…it’s going to rock.
Oh my god, look at all the traffic
OK, that’s a joke this time. I’m heading back home after dinner with Ma and at 6 all the traffic, especially this direction, evaporated. It’s kinda nice. I’m planning a nice evening of not a damn thing. It will be wonderful.
A new perspective
You’ll notice a slight change in the perspective in this picture. I moved my chair over a little to hopefully use the living room space a little better. I think it’s working. I’m just watching some TV before some work stuff that isn’t starting till 9 tonight. It is forever the curse of the IT staff that anything that can break while changing it has to be done when the least amount of people will be affected. Sometimes we get to to it at 9PM, sometimes we have to wait till midnight. Luckily tonight’s a 9er.
Healthy eats
After the pockets yesterday it’s time to eat a little healthier today. I live about 8 seconds away from a Tropical Smoothie and that just about rules. It’s not my favorite smoothie place but it is the closest so it wins. My favorite is the Blimey Limey with no sugar. Which doesn’t mean with splenda, just no artificial or real sweetener whatsoever. It’s awesome. I don’t know why they bother adding sugar to it in the first place. I can barely tell it’s gone but I can definitely tell when there’s something fake in there. After this it’s back to the apartment for some more work. Which is why I Lean Pocketed it yesterday. Any more of this and I’m going to be classified as an “aholic”.
Haute cuisine in Geeksterdam
Don’t want to go out. Don’t want to cook. Don’t even want to get drive-through. There’s only one thing for it. The microwave. God bless Percy Spencer. I don’t it too often but when I do, it’s usually a life saver.
More BBC TV
This is a show called “Man Stroke Woman” it’s a sketch comedy show just about relationships, marriage, family, dating and the conversations you have hanging with your pals. It’s very surreal and very funny if you like British humor. It’s not for everyone but it’s definitely for me.
