The roommate’s never seen “Venture Bros.” before so I am indoctrinating him in the sublime comedy that it is. Don came over today to hang out and this was about as exciting as we got. It’s not full screen because we keep pausing and checking the stuff in the background. We’re attempting to streamline the process to encode and save Tivo shows for posterity. Mostly stand-up comedy. The existing process has been modified a couple times over the years, each time getting a little faster with less involvement on my part. I’m hoping to get it to be nearly one click on my part this time. That would be awesome.
I love Venture Bros. it’s one of the best American cartoons evar. You are thinking of Avatar the Las Air Bender. Great series!
I’ve heard good things about Avatar or the Last Avatar, something like that.
I’ve never even heard of that one, I’ll have to look now.
Just so you don’t have the wrong expectations of the Avatar series, it’s not comedy like Venture Bros it’s a series that’s on Nickelodeon.
I’m addicted to Avatar. Evan got me hooked. Great writing and wonderful imagery.

If you’ve ever seen “Johnny Quest”, and are now an adult, “Venture Bros.” is awesome. It just makes fun of that show constantly. It was so goody-goody and clean and “Venture Bros.” is just hilarious and dirty in a witty subtle way. A bunch of the episodes were written by the guy who created “The Tick” so you know it’s good…and not always real..uh, subtle.
