Thank god…Not at work

03.25.2007

I’m not at work! Yay! Although I am home packing so it’s a pyrrhic victory. It’s not exactly the relaxing evening at home I would hope for. I worked this morning but that didn’t take the entire Sunday so Ma was able to come over and help me start the packing process correct. She’s got mad packing skillz yo. I’m hoping that between today and Tuesday I can get it all taken care of. We’ll see if work obliges. It’s had a way of not allowing that lately. It’s OK though. I have a light at the end of the tunnel. Big projects are coming to a close and I’m getting a new apartment which is very exciting. The best part about the apartment, which is a stupid thing to most people, and even me, is that I’ll be able to properly center my projector correctly and hopefully be able to skip the whole digital keystone process. I turned it off the other day to read some text on the big screen and I can’t believe the difference it made. I can’t wait. It’s going to be awesome. And I’ll be able to get a proper desk for the bedroom. And a better banquet table for the office computers. Is there no end to the benefits?!

    Buy a house!

  2. Matt says:

    “pyrrhic”?

  3. Matt says:

Oh yeah and what Duhg said.

  4. Adam says:

I know it is probably just plain wrong, but since you are only moving 100′, is it really worth the effort to pack everything up? Couldn’t you just use a wheelbarrow or a wardrobe box + dolley? I guess you probably want the movers to move everything, so packing makes sense.
    And buy a house.

  5. Yomamma says:

I don’t know if anyone’s told you this, but you should buy a house.

  6. 4th Place says:

Your only moving 100′. It isn’t considered a move unless Uhauls and 10-12 friends pretending to be “helpers” (secretly in in for the food) are involved. So yea unless you have a packing stuff into boxes fetish what gives? Oh and buy a house look at the market who wouldn’t buy a house during this buyers market???

  7. DaMule says:

I want to buy a house.

  8. Adam says:

Here’s some pics of Matt’s house (which I believe he bought) and some of us tubing in Utah: Pics galore!

  9. Manduh says:

Wasn’t this picture from Monday? I called you on Monday night and you were at work, I am so confused. Oh and buy a house.

  10. Manduh says:

Oh and Jesse’s gots madskillz at purse making! I finally got my b-day present which by the way was not hidden in my apartment (the sneak)! It is super cute and once it is fixed I will enjoy using it.

  11. jessi says:

    It was broken?

  12. Todd says:

I had proper mailing equipment. It was a padded envelope. FOR A PURSE! How much more proper could it be. It’s not like I was shipping fine china. Once again, I refer you to my mailman, which explains a lot…

  13. Todd says:

Oh, and UUUuuuuup yours (to all of you). I can’t get a house, I’m in the a lease until January.

  14. Manduh says:

Sure it does if he had a house he would have an area for mailing supplies and he would have had the proper mailing equipment so that it wouldn’t break. If I remember I will send it back with Ma this weekend.

  15. Manduh says:

Since he had to mail it because he forgot it, the handles broke.

  16. jessi says:

oh no! Please send it back to me and I’ll repair it. I’m so sorry.

  17. Alex says:

If only Todd had a house, this never would have happened. Wait, that makes no sense…

  18. Adam says:

He should have shipped it inside one of his rack-mounted computer enclosures.

  19. jessi says:

Are those nuts I see on that monkey? Or Monkey boobies?

  20. Todd says:

    OK…eww

  21. Manduh says:

Well if you had wrapped the present that might have given it just the extra padding it needed. I think the envelope was too big for proper support

  22. Matt says:

You should buy a house . . . oh wait we’re past that I have been gone for a couple of days.
