I had some time to kill before poker tonight so I drove across town to talk to the Tint Devils. It’s beginning to be hot with a promise of wicked bloody hot very soon. Living without tint has lost it’s novelty. The problem is that there is an oil spill on the freeway and Tropicana is down to like no lanes due to sewer work. It took over an hour to get from work to Sahara and Jones and only 20 minutes to make the return trip. I know Manduh has to deal with this all the time but I don’t and this is why I like it here. At least it takes extreme acts of nature and man to make it suck this bad here.

I wasn’t feeling too hot yesterday so no 606 pic. Today I’m feeling much better and came down to BC for some home cookin’. I haven’t had a goofy pic of Matt for a while so here you go.
Nappy hair
Memorial Day weekend has officialy started. I got off work at 1PM and came home, watched a little TV until I couldn’t anymore and crashed until the 6:06 alarm woke me up. It was a good nap and probably a harbinger of what’s to come. Sleep, sleep and more sleep. There’s other stuff this weekend as well but I think the sleep is going to be the highlight. I have to do something about the hair however.
How many times a day can I eat here?
At least twice I guess. I’m here for dinner with the fam tonight. Ma and Pa are on their way from the airport with cousin Ashley who’s in town for a 10K race. I don’t know what would possess an otherwise sane person to do such a silly thing but who am I to judge?
Still in the building
At least I’m on the way down and soon I’ll be in my car moving away from work. I kinda broke something today and had to spend the last couple hours fixing it. Allthough, It didn’t really -break- break, and I didn’t do it, it’s just that I was responsible for not testing it properly and it was an oversight by my team making me ultimately responsible. This is important boys and girls. You have to take time out for testing or something subtle like this -will- bite you in the ass. It’s not a question of if it breaks, it’s a question of when it breaks.
Damn he’s good at this
Having a hankering for both fish ‘n chips and whiskey only one place springs to mind…Fados. Don met me there for dinner and it was yummy. Afterwards I mentioned that we should hit up some video poker and I’d show Don some stuff. We sat down and played some triple play and he almost immediately hit 4 2′s with a kicker for $40. Beginners luck held strong and 20 minutes later he did it again. Damn him. I lost $20 and then we wandered around looking for the mythical 100 play draw poker machine but couldn’t find it. The closest we came was the 50 play machine by valet.
