So very sick, so very bored

I’ve been sick for about 3 days now and I’m about done with it. I have really discovered that I hate my couch now more than ever. At least it’s getting better today, finally, praise Jebus.

Better living through chemistry

Please…just let me die. Won’t it be easier?

At least being sick is an excuse to sit around watching movies all day

I’ve managed to catch a cold and am using today to rest and recuperate. I’ve wanted to see “Motorcycle Diaries” for a while and today seems like the right day to do it. Unfortinately it got extremely depressing when I went online to read about the movie and on one of the movie sites found that “Big Momma’s House 2″ made $28M opening weekend….and Firefly made $25M its entire run? There is something wrong with this picture. A less forgiving movie review site called it “Genuine Proof of the Collective Retardation of America”. While that may seem harsh I am currently sick and irritated so I am going to agree with it 100%. I was going to wax poetic about the general crap state of affairs in the movie industry these days but I found a list of the top grossing movies of last year and it wasn’t as bad as I had feared. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Revenge of the Sith, Chronicles of Narnia, War of the Worlds, Madagascar, King Kong, Mr and Mrs Smith, Charlies and the Chocolate Factory, Batman Begins and Hitch. I’m actualy pretty happy to see 5 out of 10 on there that I kinda agree with. Then I kept reading the list and realized that there is some really crap movies that came out last year. Take a look and see if you agree.

I’m blaming Alex for this one too

I was going to get a Malex picture tonight but Club S forsook the party. Mom made tacos and invited all of us and some family down to BC for dinner. As always we ate way too many tacos. Mom and cousins Keith and Rick are planning this summers family reunion. But really, tacos were the highlight of the evening.

Good god not him again

Seriously, Alex, where are you. We haven’t been around you at 6:06 for a long time. I’m having dinner with Matt, the parents and cousin Keith. He and Mom are planning the family reunion thing. We need to not get the back wall of Claim Jumpers anymore. It has the worst service record. When we’re back here it’s like a no mans land. I miss Renee.

More exciting co-lo work

I’m helping Justin hook up his new box in the co-lo facility. Unfortunately we were a little unprepared and will have to make another trip. This is why it’s really cool that it’s only 2 minutes from the office. Then I’m going to go home and finish up my firewall machine. It’s a night of computer stuff for me. I kinda watched all the TV I had saved up so I have to come up with alternative forms of entertainment. Building a firewall counts.

So many parts…

Now that Matts computer is finished I’m back to working on my own stuff. The funny part is that it took a while to find the door to the case I’m working on because there are not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 case sides sitting here stacked on one another. I desperately need to strip some of these cases for parts and just toss the cases. They are big and bulky and very in the way.
